We were looking for a relaxing little getaway with our two kiddos (8 and 2) before school starts back up next month. This was PERFECT! It’s a very well-maintained property and we loved the wraparound porch. It was perfect for cooking out, having s’mores by the fire, listening to music on the tv out there and getting to relax in the hot tub after the kiddos went to bed. The beds were also insanely comfy. We didn’t want to leave! This is such a cute little family-friendly town; tons to do! We’d love to come back. You won’t regret booking a stay here! :)

Host was amazing, recommended her favorite food places in neighboring towns. Cabin is great, pictures do it no justice, while the pictures are experiencing it in person was a highlight of the trip. Comfortable furnishings, enough space to invite friends over for game night. A huge kitchen island to utilize in food prep and meal enjoyment. Multiple locations to relax. Highly recommended, will visit again!

Thank you so much for this incredible review! 🤍✨ We’re so happy you enjoyed the local food recommendations — sharing some of our favorite neighboring spots is one of our favorite parts of hosting! 🍽️🌲 It means so much to hear that the cabin exceeded the photos and that experiencing it in person was a highlight of your trip. That’s truly the best compliment. We’re glad the comfortable furnishings, spacious layout, and that big kitchen island made it perfect for game night and gathering together. Having multiple cozy spots to relax is exactly what we aim for. Thank you for the high recommendation — we would absolutely love to welcome you back again soon! 💛

The house was clean, conveniently located to all the fun things Broken Bow has to offer! The host was responsive and the house looked just like the pictures! Great place to stay for a small family!

We booked Kim’s place last minute like the week of… we were worried that would end up with a cabin that didn’t offer all the luxuries. Kim was very responsive. I enjoyed sitting on the patio with the fireplace going. We enjoyed our stay, even our fur baby. Kim’s place was easy to get to and close to the highway.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had a bit of trouble when we checked in because our code wasn’t working, but they answered the call immediately and got us taken care of. This home was beautiful, had so many amenities we really only brought food to eat and the rest was there. The full kitchen was so nice, outside space was beautiful! They also gave a listing of different things in the area to do, shops, etc. plus a complimentary bottle of wine when we arrived. Would love to stay again and would absolutely rebook! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

This is our second visit to Heart’s Desire cabin in Broken bow and it definitely won’t be the last. This luxury cabin is perfect for our family of 4. The management company is great and the cabin is spotless. The kids loved the bunks and this mom loved the tub and having coffee in peace on the porch while watching the deer and wildlife. The cabin is fully stocked with coffee and staples like oil and salt and pepper (and cooking on All-Clad pans is a change from most airbnbs with scratched up peeling nonstick pans!) There are a lot of throw pillows and blankets, comfy chairs…it’s just the most relaxing place! There is even Dr. Teals bubble bath and dove soap as well as shampoo and conditioner. Driving into the state park to fish and kayak is quick and easy and after a long day out there relaxing with some wine in the hot tub is the perfect thing. We can’t wait to come back!

Jess M - Posted: 6/3/2024

Had a great time! Hearts Desire was quiet and paceful. Enjoyed seeing the deer every evening right before sundown!

We were looking for a quiet week away for Thanksgiving, and that is exactly what we found. Heart’s Desire was just that - everything we needed was right at hand. The house was spotlessly clean, and the communication superb. The only “issue” is spotty wifi service and tv streaming. But we knew that going in, and it was just no problem at all. There’s value in disconnecting now and then! The outdoor space is as terrific as the indoor space. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

We spent two wonderful nights at Heart’s Desire. They host was BEYOND accommodating. There were plenty of towels, dishes, blankets, and other household items that you just don’t see most hosts provide these days. Some hosts provide the bare minimum, but this one really nailed it. They accommodated our last minute booking and gave clear instructions of how to get to the property. From the decor, must have necessities, and bottle of wine they had waiting for us upon arrival, they really thought of everything!! We definitely hope to stay again one day. Thank you for making our stay memorable and stress-free! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

This broken bow cabin was everything we needed to refresh! I was here with a friend and our kids for a few days and this cabin couldn’t have been more perfect. There were so many thoughtful details put into it - like board games, towels by the back door for the hot tub, plenty of bedding and throw pillows and blankets, the second living area that is outside, cornhole, fire pit, coffee maker that makes K-cups OR ground coffee, an incredible soaking tub with a view…I could go on!
We also loved seeing all the deer and a couple of rabbits in the morning and evening.
The entrance to the state park is just a couple of minutes away. We enjoyed kayaking there too. The views all around broken bow really are majestic. It’s hard ti believe it’s just 3 hours from Dallas. I can’t wait to bring my husband back for a couples weekend soon! This cabin will be perfect for that too!

Jessica - Posted: 6/9/2023

Heart’s Desire is a fantastic one bedroom cabin with bunk beds for kids. The wraparound porch is beautiful and the view of the “prairie” was wonderful. Location is South of Hochatown but an easy drive in and less chaotic for sure. Very quiet pretty cabin! Highly recommend.

Cute and cozy little cabin. Easy to find and easy communication with the property host. They were very nice and accommodating. They went above and beyond when one little set back happened, which was no fault of theirs. They moved us to a bigger, lovely (and I'm sure way more expensive) property. We enjoyed every minute at both cabins and would definitely recommend!
