The Play Haus

We spent a weekend at The Play Haus with the family and it was incredible and even better than we could’ve Imagined . The pictures don't really show how big this place is. My eight-year-old spent most of the trip in the pool. Would've stayed in all day if we'd let her. Plenty of loungers and shade, so the adults could sit while the kids wore themselves out. The beds were soft. Really good sheets too. Everybody slept hard after being outside all day, which doesn't usually happen on family trips. We cooked every meal there and never ran out of counter space. Eight bathrooms meant nobody was waiting around in the morning, which with a group that size is no small thing. Place was spotless. Beavers Bend and Hochatown are both a short drive. We should've booked more nights.

The Play Haus is a beautiful facility. We enjoyed being with family and all the amenities we were provided. We had fishing, hot tub, swimming, paddle boarding, pickle ball, horseshoes and a beautiful place to stay! The Play Haus was an absolute jewel in the woods.

Kim was a wonderful host, quick to respond! The house is incredible!! It's huge, clean and provided so much Entertainment!! There's really no reason to ever leave! We had lots of kids and they loved the arcade and pool! Restaurants are nearby. We loved each room having a private bathroom and the kids loved the bunk beds! The nearby grocery store is quit pricey but there's a Walmart about 30 mins away. It's a great family getaway!

The Play Haus is absolutely amazing. Our family (30+) has been going to this area for the last 3 years. Family consensus is that the accommodations this year were the best yet. So much to do at the property that there was not a need to seek offsite entertainment. The spacious house is beautifully decorated with plenty of towels, really comfortable beds and a kitchen that is fully stocked with both adult (glass) and kid friendly (plastic) dishes for really large groups. The indoor and outdoor space is perfect for large families to be together without feeling crowded. Looking forward to the next time.

This place is absolutely insane. We had eight families traveling together And we very much appreciated the boys and girls separate bunk rooms. It was also nice to have twin bunk beds in two of the rooms for some of the smaller children to stay with their parents. The balconies off the master suites were so nice because we could enjoy some separate time away from the rest of the group in the early mornings drinking coffee or a nightcap before bed. The dining room tables inside were gorgeous but we mostly ate outside on the two other dining room tables and the outdoor round tables. Our kids had a blast swimming and playing in the pool. The adults enjoyed that huge hot tub in the evenings. The fishing was great and the kids had a great time racing in The Kayaks. The teepee was pretty cool and I personally enjoyed beating everyone at tetherball. We had simultaneous horseshoe and cornhole tournaments. The pickleball and basketball court lit up at night and we appreciated the neon basketballs and basketball net. I could go on and on about this place. It was amazing and we all had a blast.

We’re so glad the layout worked well for all the families, especially with the separate bunk rooms and flexible sleeping arrangements for the kids. It’s great to hear everyone enjoyed both the shared spaces and those quiet moments on the balconies. Those are some of the best parts of a stay like this. From pool days and kayak races to evening hot tub time and friendly competitions, it truly sounds like an unforgettable trip. And we love that tetherball win, sounds well earned! It was so hard to leave this cabin! The place is a luxury resort. The three nights we had in this cabin are going to be almost impossible to top. Kelli, The owner of this cabin seriously thought of everything and then some. Bravo cabin rentals were a pleasure to rent from. Someone in our party was in a wheelchair so we definitely appreciated the ramp up to the front door. We had a few small children So we appreciated the pack and play and the twin bunks in two of the king Suites. It was more difficult than usual to get our kids to go to bed because the game room was absolutely insane. The guys in our party had a great time playing Texas Hold'em. The View of this place is fabulous. I can't imagine a better place to stay. We are already trying to get our schedules together and pick a time to come back!
